I'm a chemistry undergrad at a small university in the process of resurrecting a Rainin prep HPLC from the last geological epoch. I've got all of the hardware working. It's even communicating with an old PowerMac 6500 (circa 1996) but I'd rather it be connected to something that other people in the department could use and maintain (WinXP is a little more familiar to most people than Mac OS 8.6). Also, getting data off a computer with Ethernet, floppy, CDRW and USB already built-in is going to be easier.
I found our department has an unused copy of Star Workstation 6.2 but we don't have a key for the LC module. I'm hoping that somebody out there has a spare/unused license key for the LC that they'd be willing to part with. Alternately, if anybody knows a commercial source for this End-Of-Sale software, that would also be helpful.
I'd appreciate any help that anybody could give.
Thanks!
