Sequence summary report on Chemstation

Hello,
I'm trying to create a sequence summary report for a sequence consisting of two sample preps bracketed by two standards. After the data is acquired , the peaks are named by selecting "add peaks". Once all peaks have been named, I select the data files I wish to report and click on the "report layout". I want to average my bracketed standards to correct for detector response , however every time I tell the filter to select the two standards it only reports the latter. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial ? I also have a post on Vitamin D3, so if you have the chance can someone please help :)

What revision of ChemStation are you using?

If you have drift of calibration standards over time, not so good. However, there is a way to bracket on the Sequence table, and another way is to do a Partial Sequence Reprocess using only the calibration vial injections, then do a second Reprocess using only the Sample vials injections.

Hello,
I am using Rev. C.01.03 (37). Do I need to highlight all data files that were run in the sequence, including the blank, to set up the filtering? In some cases when I set up filtering as " = to" and then the order #, the results are displayed. In other cases, the " = to" and then the order no., nothing shows up. Sorry this is hard to explain on the computer.

I am doing fatty acid analysis. I think what the previous chemist set up was a correction factor to be apply to the quantitation of all fatty acid methyl esters (FAME). Using the AOCS method, the standard EPA and DHA methyl esters of known amounts are compared with the amount calculated per AOCS using an internal standard. The avg. correction factors are then applied to all FAME's in the sample ( All triglycerides were converted to FAME). I would like to have the report contain the system suitability (EPA and DHA correction factors and injection precision of the ISTD) and the summary report of each sample including the chromatogram. I should become more familiar with the microsoft visual basic expression. I will try the partial seq. reprocessing. Thanks !! Any more input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help !! I clicked on "reprocess" after naming all peaks and now all data files are able to filter. I also created a new sequence summary report template and everything seems to be reporting good.
