When using the Waters 2695 Autosampler does the Seal Wash actually enter into the Mobile Phase during a HPLC run (can seal wash affect the chromatogram) and how often does the system carry out a seal wash?

Thanks in advance

On a normal functional 2695, the seal wash is separated from the mobile phase system.
And as the mobile phase is at a much higher pressure than the seal wash, it's more the other way: the mobile phase leaks into the seal wash waste.

I think the default cycle time for the seal wash is 1 minute (you can set this manually)

If the seals are defunct then the seal wash can enter the mobile phase. Are you having an interaction based on the seal wash and your mobile phase combustion?
