Accela pump pressure problems

Hello!
I've got two used accela pumps that should be used as a replacement for jasco 980 pumps in our unit. The problem is that they both show the same pressure fluctuations (about 30 bar) at a flowrate of 200µl/min . I already changed the piston seals, but that didn't solve the problem. I also checked the checkvalves; they seem to be fine.
Does anyone have experience with accela pumps or is experiencing the same symptoms?
Best regards

My impression is that you have to prime the pulse dampeners. If they are dry, they won't function as designed. Check the manual for detailed instructions.

I have also considered that and primed the pulse-dampener with isopropanol for approximately 20 minutes. I also tried Methanol. The only thing that I didn't do is have a syringe installed whilst priming. Maybe there should be some backpressure during that process. I will give that a try and post my results here!

Was same problem with customer Accela pump. Prime it with water/Acn/water/isopropanol. Not much success, was about 50-60 bar and best result was on isopropanol with about 15. No leaks and no ideas. So my suggestion to take back to jasco pump and add SSI™ LO-Pulse™ damper. Best solution and don't waste your time.

At what pressure are you seeing the 30 bar pressure difference? Sometimes I have succesfully run the pump up to around 800+ bar to "stick everything together" and after that perfomance was improved..

If you have a flow trough the system, try to clean with Water-10% HNO3-water, very god for checkvalve problem what I think it is.
