RGD vs HID for H2 measurements

Is there an appreciable difference in sensitivity, application, etc between an RGD and an HID for measuring moderately low concentrations of H2 (around 100-1000 ppm, but a detection threshold of 10 ppm is what we're shooting for)? There are other gases we are going to be trying to detect (methane and CO2), but those are at a much higher concentration and we will most likely be connecting whatever we use for H2 detection to a TCD and measure our syringeful of headspace gas serially through the two detectors. Thank you in advance for your time.
