Syntech 2012 GCEAD software

Has anyone used the 2012 Syntech GCEAD software? We were using the previous version successfully, but the 2012 software seems to have several useful functions (like setting a time delay between the FID trace and the EAD trace) which are not possible in the 2009 software. Unfortunately the EAD responses and FID peaks do not seem to register on the 2012 software. Any suggestions how I can get the software to actually record and show responses? The traces appear, but just as flat lines.
