Cirrus software

We recently upgraded our Agilent Chemstation software to OpenLab A.01.04. Now I find that our Cirrus GPC Software (version 3.2) is not compatible with this version of Chemstation. Is it possible to install Cirrus on another computer and transfer only the chromotrograph files to that computer for analysis? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You may need Cirrus version 3.4 ...

Thanks Coffo. I'm still trying to restore Chemstation after Cirrus fouled the program. I had to uninstall both programs, reinstall Chemstation, and reconfigure the instruments. Now I'm trying to get the ELSD back on line. It runs through the ADC and I can't find the IP address of the LAN card. Always something. I'm going to try to intall Cirrus on another instrument that is running the previous version of Chemstation, then export the ELSD files to that computer for interpretation. I'll let you know how it turns out. Regards, John

All, This problem has not gone away. Has anyone had an issue with installing Cirrus and Agilent OpenLAB on the same computer? I contacted Agilent and they told me that there should not be a compatibility issue (I told them the software revisions too).

But, when we try to load Cirrus it completely locks up the Agilent software, and all the software has to be uninstalled, and re-installed. Then the instruments have to be reconfigured. Of course I'm dead in the water while I'm hoping to get everything going again.

This is a dedicated computer which runs two clients (1GC, 1HPLC), so there is little other software installed. Any ideas? Thanks.
