Hi!

I just want to ask if any of have experienced a split peak for single compound? I'm running carbon disulfide with GCMS and the resulting peak is distorted. I am pretty sure that there is no coeluting compounds. Any idea on how to solve this? Thank you!

Many of us have. Time to check your inlet conditions or maybe your injection technique, or your column, or...
The line is "the more you don't tell us, the more we can't answer"
Are you just injecting carbon disulfide directly in the inlet or are you injecting something else and looking for carbon disulfide as a target analyte?

As Steve said, we need more information to help diagnose the problem.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
