I seem to have the hardest time to get this ion to remain stable when running DFTPP tune. The peak widths are erratic as well as the peak shape itself (in profile). I know a bad or dirty repeller can cause this problem, but is there anything else I can change or modify to sharpen up this peak. Thanks.

When was the last time you replaced the lens and repeller insulators? I was told to change them yearly when running Semi VOA's.
Agree with Bigbear. Also, make sure you have no air leaks. How old is your EM?
