Icp organic run plasma problem

I am using a Varian 720 and trying to do an organic run. I am aspirating just primisolv and base oil. I ignite the torch and immediately turn the oxygen on to a flow rate of around 200ml/min to get a green plasma. It stays lit for a few seconds and then goes out. When I check the torch it is very black. I put it in the furnace to clean it and put it back in. Same thing. It was run with the same setup only with out the oxygen so I thought for sure that would fix it but nothing. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Carrier gas is liquid argon dewer.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

We switched all the tubing back over to the aqueous set-up and tried that just to make sure it was not the RF coil. The flame stayed lit but the plasma was gray instead of green.

Any help at all would be much appreciated!
