Galaxy workstation export data to ASCII file

I am working with a Varian Prostar HPLC system. I am trying to export the raw data to an ASCII format file in the 'method' area of the chromatogram. I cannot figure out how to get it to export. The program lets me check off the boxes to export to either ASCII or Excel or text, and I gave it a destination file to export to, etc., but I cannot figure out how to initialize it. My manual says 'Be careful to close the file before executing the processing.' How do I close it?

Hello,
Sorry for the late answer, maybe you already found the solution, but I will try to help you anyway...
If you select "Default" as destination, it should create the export file in the Galaxie\Client folder. If you want to setup another directory, then, select "Custom", and then, the window on the right will be activated, and you will be able to set any local directory you need. It is not possible to set an export on a network drive, but only on local hard drives.
Then, once the method is setup, you need to reprocess the chromatogram in order to apply this new method to the chromatogram file.
Press the F6 key or select "Reprocess" in the Processing menu on the top of the Galaxie screen.
