Any money to be saved in getting PM from third party?

I was wondering if anyone has any idea if it is more cost effective to get a preventative maintenance on an Agilent 1200 LC & 2410 MS/MS system from a third party rather than directly through Agilent. (My location is British Columbia, Canada, if that matters).

Separately, what are some good resources for learning to do it myself? I'm comfortably taking apart and servicing my 6980/5973 GC/MS, I just don't have the background on the LC/MS.
Servicing that king of instruments is not that hard, Agilent can probably learn you how to do.
