I've noticed a couple of recent "power failure" error messages across two G1329 autosamplers on different 1100 HPLC systems. At least on one, the error eventually went away. I'm hoping the same happens on the second G1329 that is now showing this message as well. What is a common cause? Is the solution generally just to leave the autosampler powered off for a minimum of 10 minutes?

could be a number of things causing this. Is the fan outlet clear of dust, is it rotating. What is the voltage from the PSU.
I had an issue where the fan wasn't functioning. Replaced it and then the Autosampler failed to communicate, not visible on the instant pilot. Ended up replacing the PSU and the CPU.

Can be costly to correct. A good de-dusting is always a good help, as it stops the unit from over heating and causing other issues.

Sometimes it happened, when you change one autosampler to another and forget to change serial number.
May be it was leak. Or autosampler's termostat is not working.
May be you have problems with main power supply or your voltage.
It will be usefull to see this problem using Agilent Lab Advisor, "read buffers" from ALS and you send it to Agilent Service.

I had same problem with TCC module. After moving the instrument to next Lab the problem moved to Pump. The problem was in CAN cable, fixed for less then 5$ in local computer shop

It's very rare problem)) and it can kill main board of module.
