Exporting reports from empower to microsoftword?

you can export your report as an .emf file, and import this in MS Word.

Usually it works fine, since Empower2 i have not observed a problem

I am using Empower to export to excel files as *.txt as and intemediate file and later capturing this info from excel with a macro, it works OK.

It all depends on what exactly you want: the chroms, the sample data table, ....
If you want more detailed info, you should give some details.
