power off system
open purge valve
power on
let initialize
purge solvent lines (dry prime) and use system
(maybe perform some flow rate tests, but should not be of an issue)

if problem persists or reoccur:

1) check that accumulator CV (can you draw solvent from the purge vent?)
2) check Inline filter
3) call Service

Thanks for replying,

I try all your suggests (except calling service), still same problem

I'm afraid the piston of the pump is stuck .

Hi,

Sounds like the Pump needs to be replaced. You can of course slide out the pump tray. Ensure no dust around the encoder at the back of the pumphead. Ensure you power down the Alliance before doing this. Reconnect the electrical connections to the torpedo. Power back up and test. Also good thing to check would be the fuses on the plunger driver board. Some times this can be the reason for the fault.

Dear Rachamim,

I have the same fault on the alliance 2695... unfortunately...
I would like to check for fuses on plunger driver board. Where is it located inside the alliance?

thanks.

Hello muniunia,

It supposed to be on the board located beneath the 2 pump inside the instrument,

Actually the service technician replaced the fuse

good luck

Hi,

The fuses are in the plunger driver PCB. This is located in a compartment under the torpedo's. If you remove the side cover with the power switch. Power off the Instrument. You'll need to loosen the thumbscrews holding in the torpedo tray. Then on the side of the Tray you will see some trox's screw's. These are holding the PCB in place. Loosen, then slide the torpedo tray forward slightly and lift up the edge to slide the Plunger driver PCB out. The fuses are micro fuses, 5A or 7A. Not sure off the top of my head. But if these are good then You'll more than likely need to replace the torpedo. Have you a service contract? The torpedo is expensive and you would need to be sure. As the Plunger driver PCB could be faulty also.
