Hi
I want to know C18 and CN column application.
In what cases CN column works better than C18?
C18 would generally be the first choice for reversed-phase separations. CN would generally be the first choice for normal-phase separations.

In reversed phase, CN would be an alternative if your compounds are too strongly retained (or, paradoxically, sometimes if they are too weakly retained!) on C18 or if you need different selectivity.
