Alternatives to the SIEVE software (Thermo Scientific)

Dear all,
I am new to this forum and want to say hello to all of you!
I am analysing standards of small molecules, peptides and proteins using LC-MS/MS at high mass resolution (LTQ-Orbitrap XL).
One of the objectives of my work is to compare the MS full scan traces of LC-MS/MS data acquired from solvent blank and standards and find any kind of differences between the data (no pre-defined target masses to be screened for). Manual screening for these ions, which occur in one of the standards only (or at an x-fold excess in comparison to other standards/blank) means very much work, if not impossible ...
I know from earlier studies elsewhere, that the software SIEVE (from Thermo) is capable of doing this neatly, returning lists of ions, occurring in certain samples only.
But, before buying this rather expensive software product:
Is someone in the field of high-resolution mass spectrometry using another software, which is available as freeware or shareware version?
Or a "low-price" software? (sorry, I don't find a more appropriate word to describe this).
If yes, what is the name of the software? Where can I get it?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards
Norbs
