first You should say what type = brand this ECD is, but here are many and nobody repairs all, may be than we can help You.

I'm not aware of any facility in the RTP area that does this kind of work. The best thing to do is to contact the manufacturer of your GC and see who they recommend. Almost all ECDs use different sizes of foil and have specific recommended procedures for the sealing and testing of the detector, so it is better to send the cell off to a company that has experience with the particular model you are using.

About 20 years ago there was a company in Cary, NC called Detector Service Center (919) 469-0259. I have no idea if they are still in business but you could try a phone call.
