Dear collegues,

Please advise me what can be the reason of Autotune Fail (Trap Fcy Calibration)
In final report there is following message/

Integratior Zero Dac/419 Pass
Electron Multiplyer Volt /1850 Pass
Rf full scale adjust /3751 Pass
Mass Calib Pass

Trap Fcy Calib mass1: 69.0 Freq1:245.6 mass2:414.0 freq2:246.5 FAIL

I ll be appreciate for any comments,

you haven't posted any info about your instr... but i assume you are using saturn 2000 or 400ms ion trap..
So, you have to clean very well the trap, bakeout overnight and retry a full autotune
Eventually switch to new filament if actually appear distort during trap disassembly
good luck

Thank you for answer.
It is Varian MS 4000.
I just cleaned ion trap, made bakeout and made full autotune few times.
Still the same answer.
Could be electronic problem (power board)??
Try again by increasing the calibration gas pressure (also check if there is enough) and then tune.
Davide Balbo from Italy
are you working in external or internal ionization?
