I am currently running Chemstation A.10.02. I am considering upgrading software to current (open lab?)
Is this a useful change to make and will I have much trouble using it if I am only used to old chemstation?

Thoughts?
Thanks,
Marc
Als always there will be a learning curve, new functionalities are there and instrument control and instrument interaction is dramatically improved and modernised. Also new reporting tool is added.
You can ask your representative for a free trial, the system comes 60 days license free, then it expires.

The reporting is a hell of a lot better than Chemstation (system suit is now easy), but to be honest I thought the instrument control (for GC) was different but not an order of magnitude better. The whole package is more complex to set up but more or less the same to use. Depends what you don't like about Chemstation.
Where can I buy the kit they use in CSI?
