Bringing back to life an UNUSED waters 650E from 1994 ! HELP

A long tale short:
I found an unused waters 650E advance protein purification system (with a LOT of columns), it was bought in 1994 and (don't know why) never used and never setted up.
Now, i'm trying to get it working, i'm not (even close) an chromatography expert nor experienced (*), so, i'm begging for help, advice and all that the community can give me.
First off all, I look for all the pieces that were bought and found all most everything in four differents labs.
I found a Rheodyne 7725i inyector, a 600 control module, their pumps, and a 486 UV detector, millenium 2010 soft and sample collector, bought and not found = chart graph and the pc.
Then, plug everything to the 220V line and turn it on.
The uv detector was never used because the only tube connected was the sample inlet. It seems to work ok!
The 600 controller do not give image, but it blinks at start up (and beep). Also, the fans of the pump module gets on.

So, let's face the problem one at a time:
Inyector= when trying to connect the loop (500ul), i saw that the loop connector (seems a peek, part # WAT034-07) is narrower than the standar connector (outlet to the column and inlet from the pump, see images link below) )Among all the mess i have, found an adapter (waters part number wat082732) that seems to adapt between the loop conector and the rheodyne female port. But i'm not sure if this is the way to connect it because the void volumen it gave is as big as the inyected volume. I was that for some rheodyne inyectors the peek connector can be screw directly, but this is not the case! :(
Any advice? is there any adapter or other way to go?

* To play with an outdated fplc is the best way to lear a little bit about this and also recover a dying equipment!

pd: english is not my mother tongue sorry about mistakes !
I tryed the 486 UV detector and it works.
wish i could offer more than just moral support, but that is way before my time.
