peak widening 524.2

peak widening 524.2

I run 524.2 on 6890/5973N. For the past couple of weeks I have been having problems with the early eluters (gases). The peaks are widening and the chromatography looks terrible, but the middle and late eluters look fine.
Any suggestions?

How old is your trap?

Sounds like a moisture control issue. If you post some of your GC and MS conditions, we can make some recommendations or give our tech support team a call at 800-283-3510.
