ISTD Concentration

Good morning,
I'm new and I have no experience in gas chromatography. one of my questions is when preparing my ISTD (4-methyl-2-pentanol). I would need to prepare a solution having a concentration of 319.20 mg / l based on one liter bottle of 4-methyl-2-pentanol with MW = 102.18 g / mol and density 0.81g/cm3 whose purity is 98%.

Could you please help to resolve these calculations to prepare my ISTD.

Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience.
If the internal standard concentration is not specified in the method, I like to set the concentration in the middle of my calibration range.
This sounds like a homework assignment.

98% of a weight of ISTD (x) should equal 319.2 mg to be put into a liter bottle. 0.98x = 319.2 x=319.2/0.98

ISTD density is 0.81g per cc

x (in grams) / 0.81g per cc = the volume of ISTD in cc (or mL)

best wishes,

Rod
