CDS for Dionex UVD 340U

I've been out of the lab for a while and now trying to get back up to speed. I have Dionex Summit HPLC system and need a CDS. Chromeleon seems the obvious choice, but it is expensive and sales support is stunted. Is there anything out there that will control and collect data from a Dionex UVD 340U UV/VIS detector? The Dionex 340U manual states that Chromeleon is REQUIRED to operate the unit - is that true? BTW- other pieces include ASI-100 autosampler, P580 pump. Thanks, in advance!

Hi brni

The P580 pump and the ASI-100 sampler can be used standalone without software. But this is not possible for the UVD-340U. Using this detector Chromeleon 6 or 7 is required. Please ask your friendly local representative for any possible and budget compatible solutions.
