regarding method

for analysing metal complexes i.e., transition metal complexed with bromo pyridyl azo dimethyl amino phenol.but i tried HPLC method from varoius literatures.none of the method is reproduce able.Is it a right method to agead with HPLC?if it,s right method please give some suggestions to work on that.
