EN13130-2:2004 Terephthalic acid in food simulants
Posted: Wed Aug 01, 2012 9:39 am
This method has been designed for measuring the migration of terephthalic acid into food stuffs from PET plastics trays using HPLC. I don't have a HPLC. It calls for working standards of between 0.8mg/l to 16.0mg/l terephthalic acid in an aqueous matrix using orthophthalic acid as an internal standard.
Before I start working on this has anybody done this before via GC or does anyone have any advice they can offer before I get into it?
Cheers
