Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to turn off the D2 lamp at the end of a run and be able to start a new run after 30 minutes of warming up? In other words, my goal is to improve the lifetime of the lamp, but I also want to be able to start a new run with a minimum amount of downtime.

Thanks,
Greg
Yes, I had a nice vacation, thanks.

I believe Agilent recommends leaving the lamp on in a case such as yours; we would. If we were going to run a second sequence that day, we might have the Sequence Parameters turn off the pump, but not the lamp.

Pretty sure turning on and off is not that great for the lamp, unless that was more for the "old days".
Thank you
