The circumstances around when this happens are very unusual considering what is supposed to trigger the error. According the the manual, the error occurs when pressure ramps up too quickly, but in my case, the pressure isn't going above 10bar. I also only get the error when the machine has been turned off overnight. As I try to run the pumps, after 30 minutes of low flow, all of the sudden it starts working again and will work fine the rest of the day (has been doing this for 3 days straight). There is no difference between channel A only and channel B only (ie, it isn't a pump going out or a valve on one of the pumps unless it is both pumps at the same time), but going 50/50 increases the flow slightly (this morning, bypassing the column, I was able to get .5mL/min on either channel and about .7ml/min when combining channels). With the column attached, it will only flow <0.1mL/min until the pumps warm up. It doesn't sound like the pumps are struggling during this error - there is a clear difference in pump noise going from more quiet than normal to normal sound when it starts working. Has anyone seen a problem like this? It really has us baffled. I can't find anything like this in the manual other than a vague reference to the error meaning pressure is ramping up too quickly. I should also point out that once the pumps start working, pressure is normal (50-70bar depending on mobile phase).
