Pro Star 325 uv-vis detector

Hello
We have had a Pro Star 325 uv-vis detector donated to us. We have also been informed that to get the unit to work and talk with the computer we will need the unit's IP address. Can any body tell me how to find out what the IP address is ?.

Easiest would be to run a network scan using a freeware program like this:

Hello

With the 325 detector, there is a software called prostar verify included - with this software you can discover the detectors IP.

By the way: If you want to connect the detector directly to a PC you have to use a cross type patch cable.
