Dear All,
I am operating a Waters Quattro micro LCMSMS with Mass lynx 4.1 Software. Is it possible to analyze Compounds with +ive &-Ive ionisation modes in one injection. If possible please give how to activate mix mode in MS Tune &what are the conditions.
Yes, You could do that by creating separate time functions for negative mode and positive mode..
Yes, also make sure you have set up +ve and -ve tune files, especially make sure you have the same desolvation flow and temperature. It will constantly change otherwise and cause problems. Also take care to adjust the dwell times and you have to take account for the change in polaraity.

Hope this helps.
Thanks all dear jody_dunstan how to set up different tune files in MS Tune and in our ion mode selection there are 4 options +ive,-ive,APCI+,APCI- if I select +ive ion mode only +ive ionisation compounds are coming. How to Activate Mix Mode
