Empower ethernet detector not switching from ready>running

Empower 2154, SP/FR 4/D
2489 detector & 2414 hooked to a 2695. 2489 is ethernet, rest IEEE.
Last week, all was well. This week, using same method set, detector won't start collecting data on injection. It shows "Running" during monitoring and a baseline is displayed. When injections happen, it just stays on "Ready".

Any ideas?

Did your inject start cable become disconnected?

Nope - I checked that.

I also created a new version of the instrument using just the 2695 & 2489 (there is also a seldom used RI detector available on that system), wrote a new instrument method for it, included it in the method set... still no go.

I'm starting to think maybe it's a hardware fault on the detector.
