				Hi,
I´m very intrested in the prices of chromatography equipment(different systems, columns, detectors etc) but can´t seem to find any resource that does not need an inquiry. Can anyone give me some advice where to find them?

The final sale prices are the secret of all secrets of all equipment manufacturers.
For their price finding, they include factors like their market share in your lab, service contracts you have with them, how much money they expect to be able to extract from you etc.
Some manufacturers even hint you to hush about your prices as you "are the only one with such stellar conditions!". From my numerous visits at other labs I know how widely prices can vary.
To illustrate, our lab was offered a 5975C-inert with 7890N (EPC), autosampler, column as well as installation for a real bargain price.
Some hints from my lab:
1.) If you go for used equipment, choose your seller wisely. Bigger is not always better.
2.) Make demos with your actual samples. Nobody gains anything when you get some equipment cheaply when it can't meet your needs.
3.) Get offers from different sellers and use those to negotiate lower prices.

There was a similar discussion a year or two ago. The older discussions may be of help. The GSA price list was mentioned - and it may help give an indication of the neighborhood in which a product may be priced. (And, as I recall, some cautions regarding the use of that price list were mentioned as well.)
