Varian Galaxie and Out of Memory Error

I am have trouble using the data analysis package of Varian Galaixe Ver 1.9.302.530. I have two instrumets running this software and can load data files on one of them no problem. The other one spits out an error when I ry and load the method and/or a data file. It says "xxxxx.data could not open : loading error (Out of memory)

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, my first question is: Did it ever work and did you check disk space and fragmentation?

I would advise to install Galaxie 1.9SP2B (1.9.302.952) on top of your version. Hopefully it solves your issue.

We had a very similar issue a few years ago (@2006) when we istalled Galaxie.
It turned out to be a firmwear issue with the GC.

It would run for a while then when memory buffers where full it fell over.

This was on an early Agilent 6890.
