FID broken on Agilent 7890 GC

Whenever I put on my Agilent 7890A GC it always display "FRONT DETECTOR (FID) BROKEN". What could be responsible for this

Loose/disconnected cables.
Faulty electronic boards.

Which of the boards could this be so that I dont just grope in the dark

main mother board
FID electrometer board

Shortened heater.
Disconnected thermocouple.
Shortened to chassis collector electrode or dirt on collector.
