Hey folks, I am rather confused with Unichrom. Does someone have the patience to give me a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to do something like calibration? All I want to do, is use an internal standard to estimate the abundance of a similar chemical on the same trace. I know this question is a long shot, but it would help get the ball rolling for me.

Here is users manual
http://www.unichrom.com/chrom/ug5eng.pdf

There is chapter "Shortest way to Aim".

To get your result with internal standard:
1. Integrate (get the peak with calculated areas): F9 - "Peak Search"
2. name your internal standard (double click peak title) or fill the "Peaks" table.
3. Calculate: F9 - Calculation/Internal standard (select the name of ISTD and its concentration).

Also have a look to prepared solutions (most of them have textual description in .doc file):
