Sounds as if you're just at the edge of solubility at room temperature. A few degrees down at the SLS starts precipitating:(

Its not about stability only, it may be due to solubility. The solubility of a compound also differs at different environment and temperature may be a factor. Try to warm up the mobile phase once you get hazy and see the difference. If the soltion becomes clear, may be its the temperature.

I suggest that you switch to mixed-mode where IP reagent is attached to the surface.....or add a little bit of THF to your mobile phase

we are using sodium dihydrogen phosphate anhydrous
