phenylmercuric nitrate problematic separation

Hi all,
does anybody have suggestions for an HPLC method for this compund (phenylmercuric nitrate)?
I've tried with a polar-RP column, but apparently I don't have consistent results. Now, I'm trying a SCX column, with few results.
I did find good conditions (KH2PO4 buffer) on the polar-RP, but all of a sudden my peak became broad and then disappeared to elute much later...
Does anybody have experience with this compound? I've never seen anything like that!
Thanks in advance,
Massimo
