hi,
i am trying to make paracetamol suspension hplc method, that contains paracetamol+methyl paraben
for assay: i used C8X150X4,6X5mcron, 50/50 acn and %1TFA , method was good for assay but at specificty test, i spiked 3 known impurity that recorded at EP , one of them was under paracetamol and the other was under methyl paraben,
is there any method parameters that i can seperate impurities and have specificity , also i can use these method for impurity analysis,
Thanks
The only degradation product (also toxic) of paracetamol is 4-aminophenol. If you can get this impurity apart from paracetamol and paraben you may use method for impurity test..
