Hello,

I was working with a GC-FID 6890 N GC-FID Network System and I would like to know if it is posible to open the files that I created with the MS Chemstation of a GC-MS 7890 A. I tried to do that and I only can see the solven peak and I can´t see the rest of the compounds.

Before this post is moved I'll try to answer.

If I understand your situation corectly, you have FID signals from GC ChemStation (code name Leonardo) and you want to load them with MSD ChemStation (code name Mustang). All goes well but you see only solvent peak on chromatogram.

In my opinion your chromatogram was autoscaled to the huge solvent peak, that's why you don't see other peaks of interest.

Somewhere in MSD ChemStation menu you may find "chromatogram scaling" which will solve your problem (or simply enlarge chromatogram's area where your peaks should be - do it with left mouse button).

Hope this helps (checked with FID signal saved with A10.02 and loaded with D.01.02 ChemStation).
