I've been having a bit of trouble with a malfunctioning CAM, and I'm hoping someone can help. Dionex has declared this particular component obsolete so help from the company isn't forthcoming. I think there is the possibility that the plumbing may have been altered at the lab during a previous repair.

What I would like to know is this: Are both solenoids energized at the same time, or is there some way that one solenoid or the other is energized? The reason that I ask is that only one solenoid is currently functioning. I have replacement solenoids, but the circuitry isn't making sense to me.

If both are supposed to be energized at the same time, then one solenoid should be plumbed Normally Open and the other should be Normally Closed.
