I notice the option for "log amp calibration" in the diagnostic menu for Chemstation is present with the 5971 MS, but is there really a way to calibrate the log amp on the 5971? I know there was a procedure on the 5970, but that involved adjusting a potentiometer on a board. Anyone know anything about this?

It may be a menu item that only works with the 5970. I guess you could click it and see what happens )
I just found my MS Chemstation G1034C manual, but it doesn't list that menu item. But what I did notice that I never realized was that the software would also control the 5989 MS Engine. We purged old manuals recently and I guess this one didn't end up in the back seat of my Jeep like the rest of them.
