Hi all!

I had a new error occur in the Galaxie software today.

"The number of channels defined in the method has been changed. Please load the method again before running the sequence."

We have reloaded the method, rewritten the sequence, unplugged everything, and unplugged it and let it sit. We have had no luck in getting it to run. Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks!!

Hello

I would check if the physical configuration is the same as at the time the method was created.

Galaxie is checking this, if this is not the same, you will get an error message.
I think they did this in order to prevent picking a wrong system in a big network.

Best regards
Chris
Hello,

I think the number of connected channels (in the system, you can see them in green in the Configuration Manager) is different than the number of channels used to create the method.

In other words, the system has changed after the method has been created. So, you will have to create a gain the method, the sequence, OR go back to the "old" system configuration (in the Configuration Manager).
It can also be the method that has the right number of channels but not the sequence, if this one has been created some time ago and if the system has changed after.

Regards
Anaïse
Thanks for your help!
