how do I choose syringe filter in order to minimize adsorption of hydrophobic analytes in aqueous phase? nylon? PTFE? GSH? cellulose?
the way we do it is to try them all.
and compare it to a sample solution that has been centrifuged at high RPMs from which you have injected the supernatant solution
any column can take a few injections of this, even UHPLC. and in most cases 1 is sufficient
Essentially, I follow the same technique. However, if I am unfamiliar with the class of analytes / matrix, then I will also refer to different vendor websites for syringe filter selection and technical support.
