Sir,
I want some information on the peak correction factors while using TCD for the following . C1,C2,C3,iC4,nC4,iC5,nC5,C6,CO2,N2& O2 for H2 as carrier gas. I understand these values are available in following literature.
1: KAISER,Gas Phase Chromatography,vol.III,p.91,Butterworths(1963)
2: VAN DE CRAATS,Gas Chromatography 1958,Butterworths(1958)(for hudrogen gas vector)

If you have acess to these or any other source please let me know the above information.

regards.

Here is some information you may find helpful

thermal conductivity values from Handbook of Chemistry and Physics
CRC Press

(cal /106cm2*s*°C)

hydrogen 388
helium 324
nitrogen 54.55
methane 67.86
carbon dioxide 31.07
ethane 38.43
propane 32.23
butane 9.09
water 34.71

response factors for helium carrier (experimentally determined) with TCD

These may not be exact but may give you a place to start. These were calculated from an assumed dry gas std mix

0.3039 C6+C7+C8 mixture
0.7648 nitrogen
0.9761 methane
0.6799 carbon dioxide
0.5931 ethane
0.4697 propane
0.3999 isobutane
0.3974 butane
0.3507 isopentane
0.3393 pentane
