Hello,
I am seeking help regarding LCMSMS spectrum.
In this spectrum whether we get mass spectrum of each eluent getting separated by LC system? or
we get spectrum of whole sample?
with regards

If an LC column was used to separate the sample, you can get a spectrum for each component separated by the column. If no LC column was used, and the sample was either flow-injected or infused into the instrument, you will get one full-scan spectrum for the entire sample. If the sample is a mixture, the spectrum will be more difficult to interpret.
For MS/MS, either the user would select the precursor ion(s), or they would be selected automatically by the computer based upon full-scan MS data (called data-dependent MS/MS). Even if you have no LC separation, it is possible to have multiple MS/MS spectra for the sample, if multiple precursor ions were chosen.
If that all seems confusing, tell us more about the type of experiment that was run, and I may be able to give a more specific answer.
