We are using the clnd detector for the analysis of all nitrogen containing sample by hplc now.
In the near future we are going to purchase the uplc system.
Can we use the clnd detector for uplc?
If anyone have the paper of the clnd for uplc, plese let us know.
Best regards,

The dead volume of your detector may negate any advantage of switching to UPLC. However, if you do switch, does your detetor have a fas enough data rate to accurately record a chromatogram under UPLC conditions?

Most of the detector for UPLC, UHPLC etc have higher data rates than conventional LC detectors to cope with the data capture requirements of the much shorter analysis times. while UPLC detectoprs can cope with conventional LC the opposite may not be true.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
