Hi to all,
I'm running 8260c on a 6890/5973N + Tekmar Stratum concentrator. i have problem with my purge & trap. i have follow the same instruction that i get from teledyne instrument web. my instrument have inject the vial but doesn't suck the sample (which i use the new septa, to avoid pressure decreased). can you help me to solve this problem, because before this i used tekmar 3100, that i can adjust their pressure - to make sure the autosampler sucks the sample and go to sparger. but stratum ptc, doesn't have criteria to adjust its pressure. It is because there are something that blocked the vial and its lines/tubing? could anyone help me in solving this problem, please?

On my system ( Stratum , Aquatek 70) the sample delivery is controlled from the auto sampler ( Aquatek 70).

You are using Teklink, correct. Make sure that the autosampler is enabled in your Teklink method.

yup, i'm already connect it with the autosampler & using this autosampler, it's moved and inject in to the sample but it is doesn't suck the sample. i'm try&error every possible things through the software but the same problem still appear. should i change it's tubing? i doesn't want to try it because afraid it will damage other parts in the autosampler.

The sample is transfered with gas pressure. Do you have any pressure showing at the autosampler. I think 20 psi is suggested. Check to see if your sample needle is plugged.

Also check the needle insertion depth. It has to go in enough so both holes are in the vial. There is a hole near the top that supplies pressure that must be under the septa inside the vial in order for the sample to be transfered.
