DIY Suppressor in IC

For routine anion analysis using conductivity, what is an easy way to accomplish post-column suppression?

Do you mean easy or cheap (they're not the same).

Easiest is to buy a suppresor unit from Metrohm or Thermo.

Cheapest is to slap a cation exchange cartidge in the H+ form in line between the column and the detector, but you have to hope it won't add too much dead volume, and it will take a bit of effort to figure out how long you can go without regenerating.
