Hello all,

I have a crazy question. I am pretty good with Empower, and can ussually make the custom field I need, but I have never had to do this before.

I have an HPLC run using an internal standard. The internal standard is processed at 334 nm and the analyte is at 262 nm. I would like to create a custom field that is just the (Analyte peak area @ 262 nm)/(Internal standard peak area @ 334 nm)

Any empower experts that know how to do this, and could give me a tip it would be great.

Thanks
Not tested, but I think you can assign channels to your peaks in your components table.
This way you can set your internal standard as usual as internal standard for your analyte.
And I think response is the custom field where you are after for.

Thanks for the reply, it wasnt exactly what I was trying to do, but it does do the job.
or by using a timed wavelength?
And make a customfield for the division, which are now on 1 data channel?
