problems with system in hplc beckman system gold

hi, after turning on my hplc i get report "System 1 is running". it says that i can choose "abort" or "wait" but no matter what i choose nothing is changing. i turned it off a few times and its still the same. I will be grateful for any ideas how to resolve my problem

Which version of System Gold?

It's been a while since I ran System Gold but I have had the same problem. Click on the "abort" command for the sample table, method, etc. then close System Gold and restart. If that doesn't work, the next step is to repeat and turn off then restart the computer. If that doesn't work, turn off the computer and all of the HPLC components before restarting. hej, as I wrote before-i tried restarting, i chose abort a few times and nth. but today i decided to reset detector and pumps and its working anyway thx for advices, take care
